INGREDIENTS:
| 2 lbs. | Jar of Sauerkraut |
| 1 med. | Onion, chopped |

| Raw baking potato |
| 1 med. | Apple |
| 1⁄2 cup | Brown sugar |
| 1⁄4 cup | Butter |
| | Salt & Pepper to taste |
DIRECTIONS:
- Drain sauerkraut and reserve liquid; pour into pot with 1⁄4 cup of water and bring to a boil.
- Peel apple and potato; chop in food processor.
- Melt butter in frying pan; add chopped onion and sauerkraut; cook until lightly browned.
- Stir in chopped potato and apple.
- Mix in brown sugar and boiled juice mixture; pour sauerkraut mixture into a casserole dish.
- Season with salt and pepper and serve hot with Leon's Sausage Bratwurst, Thuringer, or Slotkowski Knockwurst.
